About Jaiven Smith

Born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, I went to high school at Bryan Station High School, where I first discovered my love of photography. I had a class there that taught me the basics. Bryan Station also stirred up a love of technology in me, as I was a member of the school’s IT Academy. It was my love for technology that drove me to work at my local Apple Store, and it was there that I first fell in love with being a creative generalist. The people I met there were amazing, to say the least, and they drove me to create at all times.

I graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2021 with a degree in Integrated Strategic Communication with a focus in creative advertising. The rest is history. With all the free time after graduation, the camera that I had first picked up in 2017 back at Bryan Station became my primary tool.

To date, I’ve built up a list of over 50 satisfied clients from gigs all over the commonwealth. When I’m not working with personal clients, I’m normally working as a Creative Designer at Sommsation-The Wine Company.

In my down time I’m probably chilling at home with my two dogs - Duke and Koda, taking landscape photos, or discussing my love of technology at JPSTV, my technology brand.
